Prime Minister Mark Carney has decided to end the year with promising another $2.5 billion in what he calls “economic assistance” for Ukraine.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Carney spoke to reporters at an airport near Halifax before making his way down to Florida to speak with United States President Trump.
This comes after Canada has already committed $6.4 billion in military support since the beginning of this year.

What about the Canadian people? When will this Liberal government come to the realization that the majority of Canadian are not in favour of continued endless support to Ukraine?
The Canadian people are suffering. Whether its the tens of thousand who die in the waiting room because of overcrowding, the millions of young Canadians struggling to find a job, or how no one is able to afford a home.
Canadians feel the nearly $22 billion we have sent to Ukraine since 2022 could have gone towards saving our country. But Liberal leadership has been showing its true colour, sending our hard earned tax dollars towards everything and anything that doesn’t support Canadians. They have been bleeding Canadians dry for 10 years to fund whatever agenda they wish to put forward, and how does Carney wish to celebrate the ten year anniversary of Liberal power? By sending another care package to Ukraine. They are not Canada First.
Canadians have always been more than welcome to lend a helping hand to countries in need, it has been our global reputation. But recently Canadian feel the government has been extending that olive branch too far with record mass immigration, soft on crime policies, homelessness at an all time high, Canadian feel shafted. The dagger in the back hurts a lot more when the mainstream media calls anyone who wants to put Canadian first a racist, bigot.. and other words that should be left unsaid.
True Canadian patriots are resilient and won’t let a few words stop them for fighting for what’s right. The True North. Canada First.
